Detik Times |MANADO, North Sulawesi Regional Police Public Relations – North Sulawesi Regional Police Chief Inspector General Roycke Harry Langie together with a number of High-ranking Police Officers and Junior Non-Commissioned Officers (Baja) of the Indonesian National Police class of 51/55 in 2024 carried out social services (Baksos) at the Damai Ranomuut Werdha Home, Dendengan Dalam, Paal Dua District, Manado, Tuesday (15/10/2024).
The activity was carried out as part of a series of traditional beret activities for the 51st batch of male and 55th batch of female police officers in 2024, Directorate of Samapta, North Sulawesi Regional Police.
“This social service activity is carried out to show new police officers that they should be more sensitive and care about the community,” said the Regional Police Chief.
According to him, the police must have concern and sensitivity towards the community, because that is the basis for the Police to always be in the midst of the community.
“When he is sensitive to society, the relationship between the community and the police will be better. The police cannot work alone,” said Inspector General Roycke.
The former Head of the Indonesian National Police Community Development Corps also emphasized the National Police’s commitment to always care about the needs of the community.
“Many people still need help and we will carry this out continuously,” he said.
